The Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Director, Matthew Garbark, reminds residents that all DPW offices and sanitation yards will be CLOSED on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, 2025.During the Thanksgiving Day closure, trash and recycling collection, and street sweeping WILL NOT, be conducted.

Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Director Matthew Garbark reminds residents that Tuesday, November 11, 2025, is Veterans Day, a city holiday. As a result, all DPW offices and sanitation yards will be CLOSED in observance of the holiday.

The Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) has released a Revised Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Annual Plan Update for the City’s sanitary sewer collection system and is inviting the public to review and provide comments. The comment period is open through November 30, 2025.
