Baltimore, MD - Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Director Rudolph S. Chow, P.E., today announced that Citizen Drop-Off Centers for mixed refuse, recycling, bulk and other materials will be closed on Monday, January 25. The Quarantine Road Landfill will also be closed. Snow removal will be done at these locations tomorrow so that they can reopen as soon as possible.

A determination about neighborhood mixed refuse and recycling collections for Tuesday will be announced tomorrow.

To support the resumption of alley-based trash and recycling collection and to protect public safety, the Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) will begin a dedicated citywide alley clearing operation on Sunday, February 1, at 7:00 a.m. DPW has engaged a private contractor to deploy bobcats and front-end loaders exclusively for alley clearing.
